Jesus’ Friends Denied Re-Entry To The UK

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, who is still injured, has had his friends and family denied re-entry into the United Kingdom, according to reports. Jesus’ people were turned away from the Heathrow airport in January following a concern with their travel visa.

The Brazilian wanted the contingent to help him settle very well in England following his £27 million move from Palmeiras a year earlier. He invited his brother Felipe, and his two friends Higor Braga and Fabio Lucio to live with him in his exclusive apartment block in Manchester City centre.

The Brazilian sensation has had a decent start at the Etihad but had been hit by two major injuries now.  His friends have huge following on social media due to their exploits. They were guest at a Man City event in Sao Paulo where the Brazilian fans of the club watched City’s game against Tottenham which ended in a 4-1 win.

The trio was denied re-entry to the UK as they returned from a holiday period in Brazil as Jesus continues to work on his recovery. The UK immigration team ensured they returned to Brazil as the initial visas they had had lapsed. They were seeking study visas now but the process was yet to be finalized by the Home Office. There are reports that City are helping Jesus sort out the issue so his family and friends can be with him during these trying times.

He needs to recover on time to help City with their attack even though Sergio Aguero has risen to the occasion very well. Jesus also needs to come back on time and get fitness ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where Brazil are favourites to lift the cup.
